This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Job Overview

We are looking for an Accounting Intern who is eager to gain hands‑on experience and explore multiple areas of accounting. This internship offers the unique opportunity to rotate between General Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and possibly Accounts Payable (A/P). You will provide administrative and operational support while learning the processes that keep our finance operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close
  • Support preparation of financial reports and documentation
  • Participate in audit preparation and compliance activities
  • Assist with inventory reconciliations and reporting
  • Support accounting processes related to product valuation and transactions
  • Help ensure accuracy of inventory data
  • Support invoice processing and vendor communications
  • Assist with payment reconciliations and documentation
  • Maintain organized financial records
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members to learn and contribute to daily accounting operations
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial data
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong interest in gaining exposure to multiple accounting areas
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix, AZ corporate office
Preferred
  • Prior internship or coursework in accounting
  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
  • Understanding of GAAP principles
