We are a rapidly growing, multi-unit, multi-branded retail coffee company, which also includes vertically integrated wholesale, roasting, and equipment maintenance businesses, dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high-quality products, community-focused service, and operational excellence.

As we continue expanding across both retail and wholesale operations, we are seeking an Accounting Manager to support the financial operations of our production and equipment service businesses.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, strong customer relationships, and scalable financial processes as our production and service operations expand.

The Accounting Manager – Production & Equipment Services serves as the primary accounting partner to the company’s production and equipment service operations. This role oversees accounts receivable processes while also leading the accounting activities for the company’s production and equipment service entities.

This position manages the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, collections, account reconciliation, and oversight of the A/R Specialist. The role requires strong customer communication skills and experience working with wholesale customers, distributors, or in service-based billing environments.

In addition to accounts receivable leadership, this role owns the month-end close process for the production and equipment service entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager works closely with production leadership and the Controller to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost tracking, and financial visibility across roasting, cold brew production, and equipment service operations.

This position also plays a key role in building scalable systems and processes, including helping implement accounts receivable tools, developing inventory tracking and count procedures, and improving operational accounting workflows.

This role reports directly to the Controller and works closely with production, roasting, equipment service, and operations leadership.

GL Accounting & Month-End Close

• Own the general ledger accounting and month-end close process for production and equipment service operations
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations related to revenue, A/R, inventory, and production accounts
• Assist with preparation of financial reporting packages and operational insights for leadership
• Partner with operations teams to ensure accurate revenue and cost tracking

Accounts Receivable Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day A/R operations in partnership with the A/R Specialist
• Manage customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and account reconciliation
• Monitor A/R aging and proactively address overdue accounts
• Resolve billing discrepancies, pricing issues, and customer disputes
• Maintain strong professional relationships with wholesale customers and service clients
• Support accurate revenue recognition and cash application processes

Production & Service Revenue Accounting

• Support accounting for production, wholesale, ecommerce, and equipment service operations
• Assist with revenue tracking across wholesale customers, distribution channels, and service work
• Work with operations teams to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking
• Review sales and order data to ensure accurate financial reporting

Inventory & Cost of Goods Projects

• Support the development and improvement of inventory and cost accounting processes
• Participate in projects related to inventory systems, costing methodologies, and operational reporting
• Assist with analyzing production costs and identifying opportunities for process improvements

Systems & Process Improvements

• Identify opportunities to improve A/R workflows, billing accuracy, and collections efficiency
