We are working alongside a fast‑growing, innovation‑driven manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. They design and build high‑quality products for customers across the U.S. and internationally. As their team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager / Consulting Manager to lead financial operations, support strategic decision‑making, and help strengthen our internal processes during a key period of growth.
The Accounting Manager / Consulting Manager will oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations of their clients, lead financial reporting, optimize process efficiencies, and provide strategic insight to leadership.
This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong accounting knowledge who excels in both hands‑on work and management‑level consulting/analysis.
Lead and supervise daily accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, general ledger, and month‑end close.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Analyze manufacturing cost structures, inventory valuations, and margin performance.
Partner with operations leadership to improve cost accounting processes and financial visibility.
Implement and refine internal controls to support scalability and compliance.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial planning.
Identify process gaps and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Manage external audits, tax filings, and compliance‑related requests.
Provide consulting‑style insights to management on financial performance, KPIs, and business strategy.
🎓 Qualifications- CPA - MUST BE QUALIFIED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, including management‑level responsibilities.
- Experience in manufacturing, including cost accounting and inventory accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
