Senior Accountant

My client is actively interviewing for their Senior Accountant. In this role, you will perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger duties as part of the Corporate Accounting team. Additional responsibilities include knowledge transfer activities, process improvement, and technology implementation support. A successful candidate for the role must be able to execute month-end close activities across various entities. Salary range based on experience- 95-105K plus bonus.

• Execute month-end close activities across various accounting functions with precision and efficiency.
• Support special projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements to maintain scalable operations.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy and actionable insights.
• Assist with preparation of month-end financial statements.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for high level accounts.
• Maintain and operate standard period-end closing schedules.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries related to assigned areas of accounting.
• Perform daily treasury control activities.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Fixed assets and lease accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA preferred.
• 3-5 plus years of experience in multi-location/entity or public company experience.
• Public company or external audit experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
