JARS Data Entry Clerk - Accounting

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our Accounting team s role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Perform data entry for invoices related to accounts payable.
• Assist in managing the accounting email inbox and responding to internal and external inquiries.
• Clear and manage accounting request tickets in a timely and organized manner.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data in accounting systems.
• Assist with data cleanup projects, including reconciling discrepancies and validating historical records.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with AP Specialist to verify invoice and bill details and resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in data entry and familiarity with accounting software (Quick Books or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Experience in accounts payable and high-volume bill processing.
• Experience in inventory management or retail operations.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry compliance (a plus but not required).

Compensation:
Hourly Pay Range: $22-$25/hour
