Field Accounting Clerk

Job Description

• Set up new accounts and process requests (VOM, payoff statements, reinstatement amounts) and changes (modifications, assignments of beneficial interest, assumptions)
• Manage multiple tasks including answering customer calls, requests, and inquiries
• Process payments, paid accounts, and lien releases
• Maintain impound accounts for taxes and insurance

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of banking, accounts, and escrow
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing business setting with new technology and a paperless environment
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, as well as in a team
• Basic 10-key calculator skills
• Ability to calculate simple interest
