Part time AP​/Jr Accountant

Vaco Phoenix is partnering with a top client in the Biltmore area to hire an experienced AP / Junior Accountant. This is an onsite contract role, working 20–30 hours per week, paying up to $34/hour.

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable: receive, review, and code invoices; process payments; resolve vendor discrepancies; and reconcile vendor statements.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Quick Books and ensure proper documentation.
• Support month-end close activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations and preparation of basic journal entries.
• Assist with general accounting tasks and ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years focused on accounts payable.
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end processes.
