Vaco Phoenix is hiring a Staff Accountant for a growing client in North Phoenix! This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity offering up to $85,000 annually. This position offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to expand your accounting experience while working closely with leadership.
Responsibilities- Prepare and assist with monthly financial statements and close activities
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track job budgets, analyze variances, and compare actual costs to forecasts
- Allocate and code job costs accurately
- Generate financial and departmental reports for leadership
- Maintain fixed asset records and manage depreciation schedules
- Set up vendors and banking details in the system
- Schedule and process weekly vendor payments
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Minimum 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
