Accounts Payable Specialist - SAP

Vaco Arizona is partnering with an organization in the East Valley seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on vendor reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and improving AP processes within a fast-paced environment. SAP experience is required.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent conversion, offering up to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

• Investigate and resolve vendor account discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, and PO issues
• Perform detailed vendor statement reconciliations and clear aged items
• Troubleshoot system and processing errors, including SAP-related issues
• Partner with Procurement, Receiving, and internal teams to resolve root causes
• Review GL coding for accuracy and support month-end close activities
• Assist with reporting and support AP process improvement initiatives
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally and timely

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• SAP experience (invoice processing, vendor accounts, reconciliations)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• Experience with AP automation or workflow tools
