Accounting Manager

Vaco has partnered with a growing company in the Phoenix area seeking an Accountant to oversee the full scope of accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, wants broad exposure across the business, and is excited to make an immediate impact.

This is a full-time, on-site role with a salary range of $80K-$100K annually, based on experience.

• Manage full-cycle accounting for the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare and file multi-state tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and 401(k) accounting
• Support project accounting for interior design and millwork operations
• Reconcile financial statements and maintain accurate records in Quick Books
• Collaborate with leadership for budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making

• 5+ years of accounting experience with full-cycle accounting responsibilities
• Proven experience in accounting for small to mid-sized companies
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books (Desktop or Enterprise; must have used recently within the past year)
• Multi-state tax experience
• Experience with payroll, HR, and benefits accounting
