AP Specialist

Overview

Vaco Phoenix is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a top client in Phoenix! This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity offering up to $65,000 annually. It's a great role for someone looking to grow long‑term with a stable and expanding company.

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review, code, and match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate AP records and ensure proper documentation
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
• Assist with month‑end close and reporting as needed
• Support process improvements within the AP function

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
