Responsibilities:

• Assist in day to day accounting operations and loan servicing.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and filings.
• Assist in audit and tax requests for quarterly reviews, tax returns and annual audit.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal controls and policies.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
• Support process improvement projects and contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems and controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1+ years public accounting experience highly preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software, databases and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
