Tax Accountant

Overview

Vaco Phoenix is hiring a Tax Accountant for one of our top clients. This is an onsite role with a salary up to $95,000. The right candidate will have public accounting experience, be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Full-cycle accounting: journal entries, bank and ledger reconciliations, month-end close.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
• Prepare financial statements, payroll reports, and 1099s.
• Communicate with clients for tax documentation and inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Tax preferred.
• 4+ years in public accounting.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• CPA or EA preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
