Overview
Compensation: Up to $85,000 DOE + bonus + full benefits
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in office)
This role supports the corporate accounting and financial reporting function, with a focus on accurate, timely financial statements and strong compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. The ideal candidate brings a public accounting background, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including quarterly and annual reports, by accumulating, preparing, and analyzing supporting documentation
- Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset records for corporate-level entities
- Support the drafting of MD&A and footnote disclosures
- Ensure financial information is prepared accurately, timely, and in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Identify potential accounting issues and recommend process improvements
- Assist with research and documentation related to new or emerging accounting guidance
- Prepare analyses and reconciliations of consolidated corporate accounts
- Support the maintenance of internal controls documentation in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Provide audit support to external auditors during audits and interim reviews
- Participate in special projects, including the adoption of new accounting standards and continuous improvement initiatives related to the close process
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a corporate accounting/finance role
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exposure to technical accounting research and preparation of accounting documentation or white papers
- Strong proficiency with accounting systems and general computer applications
