Tax Manager​/Senior Tax Preparer

Overview

Our client is looking for a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Preparer. The client is a growing boutique tax and accounting firm based in Arcadia, AZ. The firm supports individuals and businesses with bookkeeping, tax compliance, and complex filings, offering a collaborative team culture with a client-focused, low-pressure approach.

Phoenix (Arcadia/Scottsdale), AZ

Work Type:
Full-time | Hybrid (after training)

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 + discretionary annual bonus

• Prepare and review Individual, Corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, Gift, and Estate/Trust tax returns
• Manage client deadlines, ensuring accuracy and full tax compliance
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices
• Review team work related to accounting, payroll, and sales tax
• Communicate directly with clients on advisory and ad-hoc tax matters

• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience (S-Corp experience preferred)
• Strong income tax background
• Solid GAAP knowledge
• Proficiency with Quick Books Desktop and Microsoft Excel
• CPA or EA preferred (Accounting degree preferred)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Confident communicator, comfortable working directly with clients
