Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $105,000–$155,000 per year
Benefits:
Retirement Plan, PTO, full insurance package.
- Review a full range of income tax returns, including 990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
- Lead the tax provision and compliance process.
- Identify and reduce tax risks.
- Develop and refine internal best practices to improve efficiency.
- Manage staff workflow and contribute to internal controls.
- Assist with staff relations, training, and ongoing development.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and team members.
- Deliver accurate work under deadline pressure and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- 5+ years of public accounting experience focused on small‑business and individual taxation.
- CPA preferred.
- Enrolled Agent designation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager.
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and multi‑form tax return preparation.
- Proficiency with Pro Series, Quick Books, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Clear, professional communication skills.
- Ability to train and develop junior staff.
