Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is currently seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join their team in Arizona. This position begins as a three-month temporary assignment with a high possibility of becoming permanent. The client is looking for a dedicated individual who can manage the entire accounts payable process and take ownership of their role.
Location:
Phoenix, Arizona (downtown - free parking);
Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days from home
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve invoice-related issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
- Provide support for audits by ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounts payable process.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle discrepancies effectively.
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday
