Fractional Staff Accountant

Vaco has partnered with an e-commerce company that is in search of a Fractional Staff Accountant to support their day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Remote (open to out-of-state candidates)
Pay Rate: $30-40 per hour
Project Duration: Ongoing (potential for permanent hire)

• Perform accounting tasks with strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Support e-commerce operations, including inventory-related accounting
• Collaborate with Fractional Controller to manage day-to-day accounting needs
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the role grows

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Quick Books Online experience helpful but not required
• Self-starter and ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
