Senior Accountant

Director, Consulting Services (Accounting & Finance) at Headfarmer

Headfarmer is hiring for a Senior Accounting Consultant in Tempe, Arizona. The role is a 6‑week engagement, possibly extendable,([(mostly onsite (4 days per week) with an optional remote day].

Base pay range: $60.00/hr – $70.00/hr

Your primary job responsibilities will include:

• Reconciling general ledger, bank and credit card accounts
• Preparing and posting journal entries, including adjustments
• Posting and reconciling intercompany transactions
• Assisting with SEC 10‑K and 10‑Q reporting and filing
• Preparing financial reporting packages and financial analysis
• Assisting with ad‑hoc requests and special projects assigned by senior leadership

Education, skills and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred but not required
• 5+ years of month‑end accounting experience, including general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting and analysis
• Must have experience working for a publicly traded company
• Proficient in Excel and ERP software
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
