The Junior accountant is an integral member of the accounting team and plays a key role in supporting the Controller with day-to-day accounting operations. The position is ideal for a detail-oriented, motivated professional who is eager to grow their accounting knowledge while contributing to a positive, team-focused environment.

• Enter bills in Sage and submit for manager approval
• Record and process ACH payments to vendors
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
• Handle all Account Payable inquiries professionally and promptly
• Generate and process 1099’s
• Record ACH deposits and apply payments against open invoices
• Prepare month‑end journal entries
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist with gathering data and documentation for audits
• Provide general support to the accounting department team as needed
• Communicate professionally and courteously via phone, e‑mail, and mail
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with Sage accounting software
• Prior construction industry accounting experience is a plus

• Compensation range is $62,400.00 - $70,720.00 per year.
