Base Pay Range

$170,000 - $190,000 per year

Vaco is partnering with a company located in Scottsdale to find a Vice President of Accounting who thrives in a hands‑on, multifaceted role. The role is ideal for an accounting leader who enjoys building teams, driving influence, collaborating closely, and gaining meaningful exposure to executive leadership while shaping the next stage of a growing platform.

• Serve as the primary accounting authority across both corporate and property‑level entities.
• Build, mentor, and manage multiple accounting teams while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day operations.
• Have hands‑on exposure to acquisitions, financing, and increasingly complex transactions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPAs required.
• Proven senior‑level accounting leadership experience in private equity, real estate, or investment management environments.
• Background working within PE‑backed organizations or platforms undergoing institutional growth.
• Must work five days onsite.
• Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 per year plus bonus.
