Staff Accountant

Our client is a well‑established and growing organization located in Central Phoenix. They foster a collaborative and supportive work environment and are looking to add a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to their finance team.

• Assist in preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the accounting function

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar)
• CPA or CPA track is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
