• This job is a member of the Revenue Accounting Team within the Finance Division.
• Responsible for performing basic accounting functions within various specialized Revenue Accounting areas.

• Perform basic accounting functions (e.g., audit accounting data, refund claims, process/calculate check requests, debit/credit memos, journal vouchers) for various Revenue Accounting areas (e.g., payments received, billings, tickets issued/used).
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including correspondence with external contacts when necessary.
• Complete data entry of accounting information.
• Edit/audit daily passenger ticket and ancillary refund requests.
• Distribute and store month‑end closing statistics reports.
• Perform a variety of other functions/ad‑hoc projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to aid in the department’s/company’s achievement of goals and business objectives.

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field or equivalent training/experience.
• Airline/travel agency accounting experience.

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles/procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Logical, analytical thinking ability.
