AboutThe Role
We’re looking for a detail‑driven, growth‑minded Staff Accountant to join our expanding Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to deepen their accounting experience while supporting a fast‑growing, mission‑driven healthcare company. You'll play a key role in strengthening our financial infrastructure — managing core accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting operational improvements as we scale nationwide.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post recurring and non‑recurring journal entries
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and support the month‑end close process
- Process customer invoices and manage accounts receivable follow‑up
- Assist with and credit card reconciliations
- Support payroll processing and related journal entries
- Assist with audit preparation and internal control compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and support automation initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar systems
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and analytical problem‑solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset
