Accounting Specialist – Law Firm Experience Required
Location: Onsite, Downtown Phoenix
Schedule: Mon - Fri - 8AM - 5PM
Pay: $29/hr – $33/hr DOE
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join a reputable law firm in downtown Phoenix. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced professional environment and has a strong understanding of legal accounting practices.
Responsibilities- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and review client billing statements and trust account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with legal industry accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff on billing and accounting matters
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience within a law firm
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of trust accounting and legal billing procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
