Location: Phoenix, AZ 85007 (Onsite)

Contract: 6 Months Contract

Pay range: $20.00/hr - $20.00/hr

• The Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing a backup to support the Financial Services district. This position will provide backup support to Financial Services by facilitating and performing administrative and related services; including EFT authorizations, stop payments, warrant processing/tracking, deposits, agency inventory, invoice processing, and other duties as assigned.
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Ability to analyze and disseminate information required to provide quality work.
• Skill in prioritization and management of assignments
• Knowledge of excel, word, notepad and google email.
• Skill in work techniques required in maintaining accounting records through automated accounting/banking systems
• Skill in analysis and interpretations of financial data
• Skill and knowledge in lean management philosophy
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience in data entry and clerical
• Accounting experience preferred
• On-site 100%
