Staff Accountant

You will rotate through areas such as revenue, payroll, fixed assets, leases, treasury, and consolidations, working closely with experienced directors and managers. • Execute month-end close activities across various accounting functions.
• Support projects, process optimizations, and system enhancements.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes and improve accuracy.
• Identify and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and controls with corresponding solutions.
• Adapt to evolving priorities while contributing positive energy to a collaborative team environment.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• 1+ years of public accounting experience and/or 1+ years in industry
• Strong accounting foundation
• Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment and adapt to an evolving workplace.

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of finance/accounting systems and designing processes and procedures
• Accounting workpaper design and documentation

• Analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Communication and time management skills
• Advanced Excel skills

• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism
• Ability to perform accounting related tasks at a high level
• Ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to engage and foster strong partnerships with the leaders and team members across HOPCo.

• Normal office environment

• Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
• Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
