We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Tribal and Government services team. In this role, you will work closely with directors and partners to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services. You’ll lead engagements, supervise both client and internal teams, and apply critical thinking to complex scenarios. This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your technical and leadership skills while making a direct impact in Native American and nonprofit communities.
Responsibilities- Manage and develop strong client relationships
- Lead accounting engagements and ensure timely project completion
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing training and technical guidance
- Analyze financial data, apply GAAP/GASB standards, and recommend improvements
- Collaborate directly with firm leadership to support client objectives
- Travel to client sites (up to 25%)
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with governmental, tribal, or nonprofit accounting preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, FASB, and GASB
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
