Security Officer - Temple University Wachman Hall

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, residence halls, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access control concerns;
Monitor access points and campus activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate parties;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, crowd management, and coordination with campus officials and/or local public services;
Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts
