Security Officer - Temple University Charles Library

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an education location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus partners and/or local first responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations;
Monitor access points and common areas, assist with visitor directions and/or access questions, and report suspicious behavior or hazards through required communication and documentation channels;
Complete routine security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate timely updates to supervision and/or site leadership
