Cook II TDR

Summary:

Prepares food according to recipes and customer requests, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

* Utilizes basic ingredients to perform basic cooking techniques according to established recipes; sautéing, grilling, frying, roasting, and/or preparation of basic dough to create pastries, cakes and baked goods

* Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking.

* Observes and tests foods being cooked to determine that it is cooked.

* Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds sauces and garnishes to complete food order.

* Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Three or more years related experience and/or training preferred.

* Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends.

* Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

* Regularly required to see, hear and smell; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

* Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

* Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under occasional fast paced and hot working conditions.
