We are hiring a Maintenance Technician II to support a regulated cGMP manufacturing and laboratory environment. This is a hands-on role for an experienced facilities professional who thrives in structured, compliance-driven settings and enjoys troubleshooting complex building and utility systems.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and process utility systems
- Support cGMP manufacturing, labs, warehouse, and office spaces
- Execute planned and corrective maintenance with full SOP and GMP documentation
- Monitor and respond to BMS/QEMS alarms (on-call participation)
- Perform general facility repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting)
- Use CMMS (Blue Mountain) to manage work orders and maintenance records
- Work with vendors and internal teams to improve equipment uptime and reliability
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and cGMP requirements
- 4-6+ years of facilities/maintenance experience
- Strong background with chillers, boilers, AHUs, pumps
- Experience with electrical systems (generators, ATS, switch gear)
- Hands-on experience with BMS/EMS (Siemens Desigo or Insight)
- Trade school, technical certification, or equivalent experience
- Philadelphia Engineer Grade A license (or ability to obtain within 6-12 months)
- Prior biopharma, life sciences, or cell therapy experience strongly preferred
- cGMP manufacturing and laboratory setting
- Cleanroom gowning and PPE required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet most of the shift
- Stable 3rd-shift schedule with long weekends
- High-impact role supporting critical manufacturing operations
- Work in a regulated, high-quality environment with modern systems
