A highly respected law firm with one of the most prominent and experienced financial services practices in the Tri-State area is seeking a Real Estate / Land Use Attorney to join its growing team as part of a long-term succession plan.

For more than 40 years, this firm has represented a wide range of financial institutions-from national and regional banks to financial services companies and other lending organizations. Its comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry allows its attorneys to strategically advise clients through times of instability and an ever-changing regulatory landscape.

The Role

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3+ years of real estate and land use experience who brings a small portable book of business (approximately $150,000) and is looking for long-term growth and continuity. This position is part of a structured succession plan, with the expectation that the attorney will inherit and grow existing client relationships over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle real estate and land use matters, including acquisitions, development, zoning, land use approvals, and related transactions
• Advise financial institutions and lending organizations on real estate-related issues
• Work closely with senior attorneys as part of a deliberate succession strategy
• Gradually assume responsibility for existing client relationships and business
• Contribute to business development and long-term practice growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in real estate and/or land use law
• Portable book of business of approximately $150,000
• Strong transactional and regulatory real estate background
• Client-facing experience and a business-minded approach
• Licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania (NJ a plus)
