Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Level 1 Helpdesk & IT Support Administrator to serve as the primary frontline support resource for our IT department. This full‑time, entry‑level position supports daily IT operations, provides first‑level troubleshooting, manages ticket intake, and assists IT leadership with coordination, organization, and administrative support tasks. This role is designed for someone who is organized, communicative, and eager to build foundational IT experience.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees requesting technical assistance via phone, email, or ticket system.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, email, login, and access‑related issues.
  • Provide step‑by‑step guidance to end users with a customer‑service focused approach.
  • Document all issues, troubleshooting steps, and required follow‑up within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved, advanced, or complex issues to Level 2 or higher IT teams as needed.
Daily IT Operations Support
  • Support IT leadership with scheduling, coordination, task organization, and other administrative duties to help daily operations run smoothly.
  • Assist with device setup, imaging, configuration, and basic equipment installation.
  • Help maintain IT inventories, track equipment, and organize assets.
  • Perform routine system checks and basic maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Ensure office technology (printers, scanners, conference room equipment, etc.) remains operational and supported.
Customer Service & Reliability
  • Deliver clear communication and maintain a helpful, professional demeanor with all employees.
  • Follow IT procedures consistently and contribute to a responsive, supportive IT environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance—especially during peak morning support hours.

Compensation is based on experience and may be adjusted accordingly.
