RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Information Assurance Compliance Specialist II, you will:
* Design and implement comprehensive security architectures that protect the organization's information systems and data assets from a wide range of threats.

* Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on existing systems and networks, recommending enhancements and ensuring timely implementation of security patches and updates.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures that promote best practices across the organization.

* Lead security incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to analyze and remediate security incidents promptly.

* Perform security audits and assessments, facilitating continuous monitoring and compliance with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and RMF.

* Implement advanced security technologies and solutions, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.

* Provide mentorship and training to junior security personnel, enhancing the overall security awareness and capabilities within the team.

* Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends, recommending proactive measures to safeguard organizational assets. Requirements
* Four (4) years of professional experience in Information Assurance Compliance.
* An ACTIVE minimum Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. (We are not able to sponsor clearances at this time.) EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or related technical degree) from accredited College or University. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
