The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing and delivering food and beverage items in a timely manner, providing exceptional customer service with a smile, and ensuring that all of guests have a memorable Live 5 experience.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

* Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.

* Assist with set-up of tables, linens, chairs, etc. for full service of banquet events.

* Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events.

* Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.

* Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity of banquet events.

* Maintain positive and professional attitude.

Skills to Help You Succeed

* Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea, and coffee machines.

* Ability to read and write basic instructions.

* Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, and health regulations.

* Public relations skills needed.

* Ability to read and follow instructions from Banquet.

* Flexible work schedule.

Qualifications

A Few Must Haves

* Education:

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.

* Experience:

One - three years of experience in casual, buffet or fine dining restaurants is preferred.

* License:
Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license, and an Alcohol Beverage Card is required.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.

* Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.

* Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags, weighing up to 35 lbs.

* Use of stairs and elevators
