Resident Assistant Job Description:
The Resident Assistant provides direct care to residents while promoting residents' highest level of functioning as directed by management. Assists in maintaining residents' environment in a safe and neat manner. Promotes quality services within facility standards, and State and Federal Regulations.
Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
Help with laundry, housekeeping, and daily activities.
Observe and document changes in residents' conditions.
Transport/accompany residents to activities, dining area, barber/beauty shop, and physical therapy.
Perform light housekeeping chores as situation demands.
Resident Assistant Job Requirements:
Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be able to effectively read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and nonprofessional personnel.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
