Paraprofessional positions are available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program supporting students with moderate to severe behavioral or autism-related needs. These contract roles are located throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with assignments in Fallsington, Bensalem, Quakertown, Levittown, and other nearby areas. The program runs from June 24, 2026, through July 30, 2026, with para educator orientation set for June 24-25.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students exhibiting moderate to severe behavioral or autism-related challenges, including ABA interventions.
  • Assist with classroom management, behavior support, and daily living activities such as toileting and lifting as needed.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers and team members to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain attendance, punctuality, and active participation throughout the ESY schedule.
  • Adapt to possible changes in classroom assignment and school location based on enrollment and student needs.
Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a paraprofessional working with students who have behavioral or autism-related needs.
  • Must meet at least one Pennsylvania paraprofessional qualification: 48 college credits, an associate degree or higher, or a Credential of Competency/CDA.
  • Candidates not currently qualified must commit to completing the required seven-module PA para educator certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., throughout the ESY instructional period.
  • Reliable transportation with residency within 35 minutes of assigned school site.
  • Comfortable and prepared to support students with behaviors such as hitting, spitting, biting, eloping, and more intensive needs.
