OBGYN Hospitalist Job Details

Locum Tenens Physician

Healthcare Setting:  Hospital-based (OBGYN-HSC Unit)

Shifts per Week:  3 (weekday nights and weekends)

Shift Duration:  12-13 hour shifts

Assignment Length:  13-week contract

October 27, 2025

End Date:  January 24, 2026

Compensation:  Competitive hourly rate for locum tenens OBGYN physicians. Estimated weekly salary: $5,860 - $6,940.

OBGYN Physician Qualifications

Active ABOG Board Certification (OBGYN physician requirement)

Minimum 1 year of experience as an OBGYN Hospitalist or Laborist

Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Willingness to work night shifts and weekends

Key Responsibilities

Deliver hospital-based gynecology inpatient coverage

Manage occasional obstetrics patients, including ED deliveries

Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams; no direct departmental backup

Support department relocation and coverage needs during transition

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a clinical setting
