The Construction Project Manager ensures all Saxbys cafe construction projects are completed on time, on budget, and in a collaborative manner that satisfies all stakeholders. This role serves as the bridge between design, construction, and operations teams to ensure alignment with and advocacy for Saxbys construction standards and mission while delivering exceptional cafe environments.

Who You Will Supervise

Project Management:
Manage the complete construction lifecycle from pre-construction capital estimates through project closeout, including bid processes, schedule management, and stakeholder coordination to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Saxbys equipment packages, reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals while fielding equipment-related questions from engineers, architects, contractors, and installers.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular site visits, create punch lists, manage project closeouts, and collaborate with Product, Accounting, and Operations teams to complete health department requirements and ensure successful cafe turnovers.
Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with preferred vendors for owner-supplied FF&E and finishes while identifying opportunities to improve project efficiencies, reduce costs, and optimize timelines.
Renovation & Repair Management:
Lead end-to-end management of cafe renovation projects and large-scale repair initiatives that arise across the portfolio.

Collaborate on pre-construction capital estimates, value engineering projects, and strategic construction initiatives.
Operations Team:
Partner to ensure successful cafe turnovers that match communicated expectations and support operational readiness.
Product Team:
Collaborate on health department punch lists and equipment specifications to ensure compliance and functionality.
Accounting Team:
Work together on project budgets, vendor payments, and financial reporting for construction initiatives.

What You Have Done

3+ years of experience in construction management or architecture
Construction experience in food & beverage industry preferred
Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion
Experience with project management software (Procore, , Airtable, Gantt charts preferred)
Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
Working knowledge of construction techniques, terminology and documentation.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or related field
