Our Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support the assigned department/community. Essential Duties Answer all incoming telephone calls, take messages, pass on calls to appropriate person. Handle all packages delivered to the office. Open mail, date stamp, and distribute to appropriate staff members. Receive rental and service payments, write receipts, enter transactions in one-site and prepare all bank deposits.

Mail applications and assist with the processing of applications for residency and with the move-in/ move-out procedure. Follow up on mailings as needed. Assist residents with paper work as needed. Pass on to appropriate staff person maintaining records as required. Contact and schedule vendors for maintenance and repairs. Assists Manager and Facility Maintenance in keeping files compliant for inspection. Determine the need for and order office supplies within the budget limits and with the approval of the community manager.

We are seeking a full time Administrative Assistant for our Scottish Rite House community.

Work schedule:

8:00am - 4:00pm with 1 hour lunch. Work hours 70 bi-weekly (35) weekly.

Hourly rate: $20.00 to $29.00 depending on experience.

To be successful in the role, you would have:

* A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum; an Associates degree preferred.

* A minimum of two years administrative support experience required.

* Proficient PC Skills; advanced user level of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other applicable software.

* Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills. Ability to operate various office equipment and machines.
