Job Title:
Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance is an Allstate Business)
- Drive profitable growth and attainment of business goals by generating new business sales and understanding customers' needs to build rapport and trust.
- Grow and retain a personal book of business within the market/retail location; attract and generate new customers and cross-sell existing customers across product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
- Sell to walk-in customers, market products outside the office via marketing calls and in-person visits to create community relationships and promote ongoing growth; assist customers in the office.

Minimum Qualifications- 0 – 2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell/retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts to continually build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community to build centers of influence/referral sources.
- Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitors key competitors and suggests initiatives to improve the company’s position in the marketplace.
- Collaborates with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
- Delivers optimal results within metrics including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance, and compliance with rules, procedures, and standards.
- Understands and stays current on company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.
Unlicensed Candidates: Base compensation: $17.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Licensed Candidates (Licensed to sell Auto or Property & Casualty Insurance): Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on active required license and minimum 6 months of P&C sales experience.
Total Compensation: In addition to base hourly rate, total compensation may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
