Salary and Benefits

What Would You Do As a Fleet Technician

Under the general direction of the Administrative Sergeant for the Police Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our vehicle fleet. Your responsibilities will include performing daily inspections of vehicles, checking fluids, tires, gauges, and electrical systems to maintain peak performance. You will document and record all maintenance and services, ensuring meticulous oversight of our fleet.

Additionally, you will take vehicles to pre-arranged service locations and assist Police Officers with any issues or needs that arise concerning fleet vehicles. This position offers a blend of hands-on mechanical work and collaboration with law enforcement, making it an essential part of our mission to serve the City of Pharr effectively.
