What would you do as a Seasonal After School Program Recreation Aide

As a Seasonal After School Program Recreation Aide, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and assisting children with their homework, arts and crafts, and the development of essential teamwork and social skills. Your creativity and innovation will shine as you develop engaging instructional methods that captivate participants' interests. Ensuring a safe environment is crucial, as you will inspect facilities for potential hazards and promptly report broken equipment to your supervisor.

Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing recreation and athletic programs tailored to the community's needs. Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are

• Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe environment for recreation and athletic program participants.
• Knowledge of basic fundamentals and techniques of athletics, fitness, cultural/social activities and/or arts and crafts sufficient to be able to perform a variety of duties related to the work assignment.
• Must be able to physically exhibit and conduct program activities offered to participants.
