Our Client is a leading provider of mobile, ruggedized technology solutions for government, military, public safety, and industrial organizations. We deliver customized, mission‑critical equipment designed for extreme environments.

Position Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role focuses heavily on outbound prospecting, pipeline development, proper account qualification, and long‑term relationship building across government, military, public safety, and industrial markets.

Success in this role requires high activity levels, strong communication skills, structured qualifications, consistent follow‑up, and the ability to represent our client professionally in both virtual and in‑person environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls daily
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Identify buying signals and active projects
  • Target a wide customer base including government, law enforcement, emergency services, military, construction, oil & gas, agriculture, utilities, and transportation
  • Determine customer need for rugged products and mobile technology solutions
  • Identify budget availability or grant funding
  • Confirm purchasing timeframe
  • Identify the final decision‑maker
CRM & Documentation (EPDS)
  • Log all calls, notes, qualifications, and follow‑ups accurately in EPDS
  • Maintain updated contact and account records
  • Track opportunities and pipeline status daily
Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Conduct professional and conversational discovery calls
  • Educate customers on Compnay's rugged solutions and value proposition
  • Build long‑term client relationships through responsiveness and trust
  • Collaborate with internal support teams for pricing, product configuration, and fulfillment
Trade Shows & Field Engagement
  • Represent the company at trade shows, expos, conferences, and industry fairs as needed
  • Engage prospective customers in person and follow up on leads generated from events
  • Support marketing and business development efforts through event participation
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $800 – $1,000/week
  • Uncapped earning potential through commissions

Job Type & Requirements
  • Job Type: Full‑time
  • 2 years in your last role OR no more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Strong phone communication and relationship‑building skills
  • High energy, resilience, and self‑motivation
  • Ability to follow a structured sales process
  • Comfortable with high call volume and activity metrics
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to learn technical products quickly
  • Professional demeanor with government and corporate clients
  • Prior B2B sales experience preferred (inside sales or technology sales a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retired or former law enforcement, military, or public safety professionals strongly encouraged to apply
  • Knowledge of rugged devices, mobile computing, or mission‑critical technology solutions
  • Experience selling into government, public safety, or industrial markets
  • Familiarity with grant‑funded purchasing processes
