Shift / StatusFull Time, 40 hours per week
ScheduleDay Shift, Monday - Friday (7:30am‑4:00pm or 8:00am‑4:30pm). Requires flexibility as department grows. Call requirement approx 10 days per month (evening & weekend) with 30 min response time.
Catheterization Lab DepartmentRegistered Nurses (RN) play a pivotal role in assisting with diagnostic heart procedures. RN duties include:
- Preparing and monitoring patients during procedures
- Administering medications and sedation
- Assisting physicians during procedures (angiograms, stent placements, heart and vascular catheterizations, cardioversions, venous pacemaker wire insertions, transesophageal echocardiograms)
- Monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Managing sterile technique and equipment
- Providing post‑procedure care and patient education
The ideal RN has previous Catheterization Lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience. The department focuses on teamwork, patient safety and nurse safety.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensed as RN (state licensure)
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience in catheterization laboratory or interventional radiology preferred
