Full Time, 40 hours per week
Schedule:
Day Shift, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am – 4:30pm; position requires some flexibility as the department grows) and a call requirement of approximately 10 days per month (evening and weekend call) with a 30 minute response time.
Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Department
Responsibilities- Assist in diagnostic heart procedures in the Cath Lab, including preparing and monitoring patients during procedures.
- Administer medications and sedation as directed.
- Assist physicians during procedures (e.g., angiograms, stent placements, left/right heart catheters, cardioversions, venous pacemaker wire implant insertions, and transesophageal echocardiograms – TEE’s).
- Monitor vital signs and heart rhythms; maintain sterile technique and equipment.
- Provide post-procedure care and patient education.
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN – Registered Nurse
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- Previous Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology (IR) RN experience is preferred
