POSITION OVERVIEW
Our Day Porter plays a key role in creating a positive member experience by keeping the gym clean and well-maintained. This role involves ongoing cleaning and upkeep of workout areas, locker rooms, and common spaces while the facility is in operation.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Maintain cleanliness of gym floors, workout areas, studios, offices and common spaces throughout the day

· Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, locker rooms, and showers as needed

· Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, fitness equipment, and amenities to maintain hygiene standards

· Empty trash on a regular schedule

· Spot clean mirrors, windows, glass doors, and entryways

· Monitor and replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and sanitizer

· Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or immediate cleaning needs during business hours

· Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment

· Maintain janitorial closets and ensure supplies are organized and stocked

· Assist with light deep-cleaning tasks as assigned

· Maintain a professional, friendly presence when interacting with members and staff

· Perform other duties as required. Employee responsibilities are subject to change at any time

WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours are scheduled and made available to employees by the Operations Manager. Your Supervisor will give you more details about where to access your schedule.

Employees are required to:

• Keep availability up to date for each day of the week
• Request time off at least two weeks in advance
• Notify your manage of any shift changes or swaps (Once the schedule has been posted, your shift is your responsibility
