Skid Loader Operator

About The Role

We are looking for a precision-focused Skid Loader Operator to join our field crew. You will play a critical role in our paving and concrete operations, responsible for site preparation, material handling, and ensuring our projects are grading‑ready with efficiency and safety.

Location: Pewaukee, WI
Company: Pro 2 Pave, Inc.

• Equipment Operation:
  Safely and skillfully operate skid steers (Bobcat/CAT) with various attachments for grading, excavating, and loading.
• Site Preparation:
  Execute fine grading and sub‑grade preparation for asphalt and concrete installations.
• Maintenance:
  Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance to ensure machinery stays in top working order.
• Crew
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with the Foreman and crew to ensure project specs are met on time.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating a skid loader in a construction or paving environment.
• Technical Skill:
  Proficiency in fine grading and reading grade stakes.
• Reliability:
  Strong work ethic and the ability to work long hours during the peak paving season.
• Safety Mindset:
  Deep understanding of job site safety protocols and equipment limitations.
• Licensing: A valid driver’s license is required; a Class A CDL is a major plus.
