Position SummaryThe retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career‑growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. The role primarily serves the customer by assessing needs, recommending appropriate products or services, performing entry‑level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely completion of services. Pay Range: $15.50 – $23.20.
Responsibilities- Customer service, sales, and customer issue resolution – 75% of the time.
- Basic vehicle service tasks such as oil, tire and fluid changes – 25% of the time.
- Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, and display duties – as needed.
- Assist manager or act as Manager‑On‑Duty in certain circumstances to support development.
- Learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front‑shop and back‑shop tasks.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid automobile driver's license.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and desire for career growth.
- Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks.
- Ability to learn and operate store systems.
- Two‑year degree or completion of a non‑traditional education or training program indicating a growth mindset.
- Previous consumer retail sales experience.
- Previous automotive experience (plus).
- Previous management or supervisory experience (plus).
